Autism Awareness Youth Art Exhibition & Charity Initiative

Catherine Zhang played a key role in organizing and leading the World Autism Awareness Day Youth Art Exhibition, a community initiative dedicated to raising awareness for autism through art and public engagement. As a core organizer and event host, she participated in planning, coordination, and on-site execution, bringing together young artists, nonprofit organizations, and local community members.

A central part of the event was a live charity auction featuring youth-created artwork, where Catherine served as a host and facilitator. Through active community participation, the event attracted over 300 attendees and raised more than $16,000 to support families affected by autism, creating meaningful social impact.

In addition to her leadership role, Catherine also contributed her own artwork to the exhibition, with her work featured in the official youth art collection. Her dual role as both an organizer and an artist reflects her ability to combine creativity with social advocacy.

In addition, Catherine contributed her own artwork to the exhibition and donated all proceeds from its sale to support children with autism, further demonstrating her commitment to using creativity as a force for meaningful social impact.
